Sony PXW-FS5

The Sony PXW-FS5 offers excellent video quality in a lightweight, small body size. Perfect for locked-down interview setups, traditional narrative production, and run-and-gun shoots. It features a super 35 sensor capable of up to 4K 30p and up to 120 fps in 1080p.

With the installed RAW upgrade we are able to offer up to 240fps in 2K and 120fps in 4K via the camera’s buffer utilizing the Atomos Shogun Inferno. The Inferno also allows 4K Raw CDNG, as well as Prores 422/HQ in Sony S-LOG 2.

Both S-LOG 2 and 3 offer 14 stops of dynamic range and an image with a good deal of grading flexibility. However for those interested in something more useable out of the camera, Cinema gamma 4 is our profile of choice.

In addition to the Shogun Inferno FS5 package also includes a SMALLRIG VCT shoulder plate and an offset grip, as well as 3 V lock batteries, and other support gear, perfect for a run and gun handheld setup at maximum resolution and frame rates.
